Music charity event will stir Inverness
Sugababes and McFly were announced today, Friday, February 26, as the latest artist to be called to participate in Sunday's Rock 4 Life's in Whiteness, Inverness.
The Rock 4 Life will take place on Saturday 1st and Sunday, May 2. This will be the first public concert live in Scotland of the new show from the Sugababes.
Lemar, singer of R & B, also attend the star-studded Sunday, while Saturday will have Status Quo, Steve Harley and Donnie Munro contrast creating a pop / rock at the event, providing entertainment for the whole family during the weekend.
The director of Caledonian Productions, Tobias Leask said: "We are thrilled to be named so great and happy to offer the public a set of artists that will satisfy all musical tastes."
"We'll take a few rock legends on Saturday and some great pop artists on Sunday. We hope to provide a good event for everyone - and for good cause. "
Rock 4 Life will raise money for the Hospice of Highland, the only hospice which treats adults with incurable diseases in the Highlands of Scotland.
David Welch, director of Communications and Fundraising Hospice, said: "Rock 4 Life is a fantastic idea and an event that will be received with joy in the Highlands. We appreciate all the work being done by Caledonian Productions to raise money for the Hospice, Inverness and put on an event so exciting. "
Caledonian Productions made the decision last month to change the musical event lasting two days to Whiteness, Ardersier and situated between Nairn.
The Compania Properties of Whiteness is donating the use of local musical event for charity.
