A Heatworld publicou a entrevista com Danny, em que ele respondeu perguntas de fãs, que foi feita ontem, dia 4 de fevereiro. Confira abaixo a tradução.
Danny Jones do McFly responde as SUAS perguntas!
Danny Jones está acostumado a estar em um palco, rodeado por seus 3 companheiros de banda enquanto segura uma guitarra, então deve ser uma transição bastante inusitada para ele estar fora dos palcos, em suas solitárias noites de sexta-feira. Ainda assim, ele consegue levar as coisas no seu ritmo, e está fazendo um trabalho incrível.
Quando nos encontramos com ele ontem, para uma conversa no London Studios, ele parecia exausto, sim, mas cheio de entusiasmo para o desafio que vem pelo caminho. “Eu estou sonhando com ópera”, ele admitiu. “Isso está comandando a minha vida!”. Nós também conseguimos descobrir um pouquinho sobre aqueles projetos secretos, mas Danny não falou muita coisa. “O álbum terá um estilo de verão”, ele disse. “Há alguns projetos secretos. Tom tem um, Dougie tem outro. Eu preciso ter um também! Definitivamente é o idioma. Tentar acompanhar os arranjos e a língua italiana são minhas fraquezas.
Skyfullofstars pergunta: Como são os bastidores do Popstar to Operastar? Todos se dão bem ou tem um pouco de rivalidade?
Antes nós costumávamos almoçar e jantar juntos, mas agora ficou mais sério, então cada um fica em seu camarim para praticar. Está ficando ainda mais intenso agora. Mas mesmo assim todos são muito legais.
McFrankie pergunta: Qual é a sua definição de um homem atraente?
Jude Law é atraente. Ele passa pelas garotas e elas ficam… doidas.
PascaleDeBom pergunta: Você acha que está alcançando seu objetivo de fazer uma boa música de ópera?
Sim! Se você for ver uma boa ópera, é como assistir a um musical. Ópera parece bastante intimidador. Mas eu quero muito assistir uma, vou começar a ir. Talvez eles me chamem para participar.
McFloor pergunta: Se você pudesse ter um super poder por um dia, qual seria?
Essa semana… com certeza eu gostaria de ser o melhor cantor de ópera de todos! [Risos] Eu gostaria de ser o homem mais forte do mundo, mas para apartar uma briga. Eu gostaria de ir às batalhas e dizer “NÃO”. Eu adoraria ter o poder de impedir milhares de homens.
PascaleDeBom pergunta: Ter os outros garotos do McFly na plateia toda semana ajuda você a se distrair?
Quando eu estou cantando eu nem olho muito para a plateia, porque estou compenetrado no momento. Mas durante o programa eu sempre os olho e faço sinais com as mãos e coisas do tipo. É bem engraçado.
Skyfullofstars pergunta: O que te faz sorrir?
Ver os caras tentando cantar ópera! Eles são engraçados – e são todos uns idiotas. Eu não tive tempo suficiente para ensiná-los. Eu só os coloco a par das instruções que eu tive, como abrir e fechar a boca como um peixe. Você tem que fazer muito disso na ópera.
paulaamorimf pergunta: Como está a sua garganta com toda essa cantoria?
Eu estou me sentindo um pouco desanimado hoje. Eu ando tendo dores, estou com dor de garganta e meus ouvidos estão entupidos. Eu não sei o que tem de errado comigo. Eu acho que só estou um pouco cansado.

Eu com certeza posso viver sem meu cachorro fazendo cocô no chão da minha cozinha. Faça do lado de fora, cara! Bom, quais são as 5 coisas sem as quais não posso viver? Familia, erm… minha torradeira, sexo, porque isso é natural para um homem. E… Vanilla Latte*.

RebeccaMasters pergunta: Você anda bastante ocupado no momento ensaiando para o Popstar To Operastar e trabalhando com o McFly e organizando seus planos futuros. Como você faz para lidar com tudo isso?
Na verdade, é um pouco difícil. Eu tento estar presente no McFly, porque acabamos de começar a gravar. Ter de levantar às 9h, ficar aqui até às 17h, depois ir pra casa e jantar, e quando dá umas 18h ou 19h, tudo o que você quer é relaxar. Eu não tenho ido à academia ou nada do tipo, o que eu gostaria de fazer. Mas eu fui bem no futebol na noite passada.

Perfeitos? Eles não são perfeitos. Eu tenho um aparelho invisível, você consegue ver? [Abre a boca para que a jornalista possa olhar]

Eu não sei. Como estou fora da minha zona de conforto, eu teria que duplicar o preço. Depende do número de músicas também. Contratar a banda inteira custaria umas 90 mil libras… em dinheiro vivo!
